Manufacturing jobs take 10-year plunge
The top 100 U.S. job markets lost 3.5 million manufacturing jobs, or 34 percent, since 2000, the analysis found.
The study of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics was conducted by Business First of Buffalo, N.Y., a sister publication of the Birmingham Business Journal. Both are owned by American City Business Journals.
