Semicon Industry Enters Oversupply

According to beancounters at market research firm Isuppli, semiconductor inventories are high and the industry is entering oversupply. The average number of days that a chip will sit in a warehouse is up to 75.9 days in the third quarter of 2010, up 1.5 days from the second quarter. So far the increase of inventory is line with what the firms expected, so there is no risk of over-inflating the current supply chain.
